Do not profane G‑d’s Oneness in any way

The first of the 7 Noachide Laws tells us to recognise and honour the Creator of all existence

Sounds easy – just do not bow down to idols. Recognising what it means and how to actually keep this law is a bit more nuanced, and we will explore this topic through our conversations (would it be a blog or posts on social media or much more).

Diverse people of all ages holding hands beneath a vast cosmic spiral and radiant divine light, symbolizing the absolute Oneness of the Creator, no idolatry, and unified purpose for all humanity.

However, it ultimately boils down to get involved with our world with respect and constant recognition of the Oneness of the Creator. Almighty created and sustains this world all the time. Everything is in His power. He, in his infinite Wisdom entrusted this world to us, while giving us free will.

To take proper care of this world, we need to learn the rules. The 7 Noachide laws are the blueprint of our survival and prosperity, harmony and true peace, goodness and kindness.

This is true for things throughout the universe – from the planets we are yet to explore to the smallest particle of dust. Since nature is a significant part of creation, learning the laws that rule it can be a road to discovering the overall beauty of this world. As long as we remember where the rules are coming from.

If this is the case, how much more so in our relationships with other people. Kindness and compassion should rule our daily lives as long as we understand that everything has rules and limits.

Only G-d has no limitations. Recognising such obvious objective reality will ultimately bring us to the reverence of G-d and realising that ultimately there is nothing outside Him.
